With most of the habitable land on Earth explored and conquered, science so advanced that we opt to employ pattern-finding machines to do it for us, there is little intrigue and mystery left in the world. At least it seems that way quite often.
The hunger for such intrigue is clear: media with large worlds and deep lore have been growing in popularity for a long time. Indeed, I often feel like art is one of the last places with room to explore for an ordinary folk like me.
